Hey, welcome to quiet take. I'm Deaf, and I've spent years tinkering with things and writing about tech on the web.
I've been blogging on and off since 2004, but I wanted to try out Bear Blog as a platform and use this space for more specific topics: a Deaf perspective on tech, and whatever else catches my attention along the way. Now I want a space that's just for that intersection, at whatever pace it comes.
As I mentioned, I'm new to Bear Blog, and I'm excited to see what I can do with it. I'm looking forward to tinkering and adding some cool plugins along the way.
This is going to start slow. I don't have a big backlog of posts ready to go yet. But it's an exciting time to be paying attention to this stuff, especially with how fast AI is moving into sign language and accessibility right now.
